“Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung”
The mantra “Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung” is known to be a powerful mantra that promotes healing in the mind and body. When you continuously meditate and chant the mantra, you enter into the land of light where all ones troubles disappear.
It is known as the ancient Siri Gaitri mantra practised in Kundalini Yoga. The mantra’s meaning translates to ” I am thou”. It is also known to mean ” The service of God is within me”.
“Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung” represents eight sounds which vibrate through the spine’s spirit center.
As one chants the Siri Gaitri mantra, our breath develops becoming powerfully balanced and pure. The healing vibrations created, in turn, attract healing elements in the body. Not only does it heal the body but it also cleanses our Aura and helps to re-balance our Chakras.
The sound of the mantra helps create a neutral mind balancing the brain. As this is happening, the Hypothalamus begins to pulsate in time with the nervous system. The result of this rhythmic movement causes the endocrine system and pituitary gland to move in the same pattern. the whole glandular system is now in tune. The muscular system and blood cells now begin to receive healing vibrations to rebuild ones health.
“Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung” should be meditated in the Easy Pose called Sukhasana.
This is done by crossing the legs and straightening the spine. Elbows should be bent by the side at a 45 degree angle with palms facing upwards towards the sky at a 60 degree angle.
When you begin to meditate close your eyes and focus on your Third Eye. Imagine the person you want to heal, it could be you or anyone who needs healing. Imagine the person with a glowing green light around resonating from them. Inhale deeply. Hold. Then, while exhaling, chant the mantra in one complete exhale. Focusing still on the healing green light. “Hung” should be vibrated at the root of the nose.
